Whoa, whoa, whoa, what decade is it again?! 2007? *Whew* For a second there I thought it was 1992 and I was in elementary school wearing my pair of purple colored Cross Colors brand pants. Of all the trends from my childhood that I thought might have a chance of being resurrected in present day time, colored pants was the LAST THING on my list. I shudder at all the pictures I had wearing my purple/green/red(well burgundy really) pants. So it was literally a huge shock to come across a preview of Japan's Phenomenon Fall 07' Collection with a picture of three brightly colored pants(displaying the exact colors I owned back in the day) hanging in all their early 90's glory. This scares me because for one, there might be a chance of this trend actually coming back in full force, but also for the fact that this is yet another sign of me getting really old.
If I was still a scratch dj, i'd sell my body and/or heroin on the corner to save up for a C1 Vestax turntable. Ricci Rucker murderous on the cut.

De La Soul is one my favorite Hip Hop groups of all time. I'm more of a fan of their older material, the Prince Paul produced stuff(with the exception of "Stakes Is High"). It's wild to see how far they have come and what I find most amazing is how absolutely "un-mainstream" they have remained. From the time they came out with fans calling them "hippies" and up until now being one of the Hip Hop acts that MTV and BET don't deem it necessary to play their videos because their particular type of rap doesn't fit the demographic they're trying to reach.
This is a rare and interesting video, it's a "3 Feet High and Rising" Press Kit. See how these three cats from New Haven first started out before eventually going on to craft one of the best Hip Hop albums of all time, "De La Soul Is Dead."
Easily one of my favorite sites. It's all about productivity and self improvement folks. Do the knowledge.
